BUTI
Le BUTI est le premier objet de la collection HATA Népal. Ce collier en laiton creux permet de porter une histoire (voir page suivante)au plus près de soit, en Nepali, Français ou Anglais.
Ce bijou a été imaginé, créé puis photographié au Népal.
À Patan, j’ai travaillé avec un dinandier. À Bandipur, j'ai travaillé avec un bijoutier.
À Ghorka avec un coutelier. Le travail du métal est très important au Népal et j’ai pu manipuler du cuivre, de l’acier, du laiton, de l’argent et même de l’or.
Ce collier vient cristalliser les mouvements que j’ai appris (notamment celui du martelage), la culture du bijou que j’ai vu, l’énergie du voyage et la passion de l’histoire. Le tout gravé dans du laiton népalais et rempli d’un message.
The Buti is the first object from the HATA Nepal collection. It is inspired by the « Buti » a little story is placed inside this jewel.

The « Buti » which inspired the necklace is a Nepalese and Tibetan jewel to pray. Most of the time it is filled with incense to throw in the temple flames, with pigments to throw on statues or small paper rolls engraved with mantras.
In Patan, I worked with a copper carver. In Bandipur, I worked with a jeweler. In Ghorka, I worked with a knife maker. The metal work is very important in Nepal and I was lucky to touch silver, brass, steel, copper and even gold.
This necklace reunits the gestures I learned, the jewelry culture I saw, the trip energy and passion for the stories.
