Dreamday's Refuge is a short 2.27 video inspired by the form of the poem where the abstract and the real meet and where the meaning between things is perhaps more important than the things themselves. Located between dream and reality, abstract and formal links are woven between elements such as the cavity of a shell and that of an ear, or the round container of a snail shell and that of a pregnant woman's belly. I propose here to question the being and the forms which occur in the reverie of the refuge, of the folds, of the interiority. Certain dialectics specific to shells, analyzed by Gaston Bachelard such as the inhabited and the empty, the small and the large, the hidden and the manifest, the smooth and the rough become visible plastic motifs in the video.
